Cube Developments officially celebrated the start of construction for their $37 million Curve Birtinya apartments. Luxury living in the Sunshine Coast’s growing health precinct has been overwhelmingly popular with half of the apartments having already been sold and the majority of buyers hailing from within 30 kilometres of the project.
“There has been an overwhelming amount of interest in this project with buyers eager to purchase off the plan to secure their place in one of the first luxury living apartments to be built within the precinct. We only have one penthouse with a private rooftop terrace left for sale but all the residents will have access to a taste of luxury with the Curve private pontoon, resident gym, Pilates studio, pool, spa and sauna,” said Cube Development’s Director Scott Juniper.
Mr Juniper, along with Stockland’s Mark McMahon, Sunshine Coast Councillor Jason O’Pray, and project builder Michael Crocker from National Construction Management marked the start of construction today for the multi-million dollar project. National Construction Management Business Development Manager Michael Crocker said that projects like this are good news stories for the local construction industry and the 65 workers expected to be on site during peak times.
“Not only is this great for confidence in the industry with an estimated $17 million injected back into the local economy, but it also exciting to work on a unique design that is outside the box,” said Mr Crocker.
All of the apartments are designed to be spacious and light to really capture the sea breeze — they will all have high ceilings and most will enjoy water views. There are 32 apartments left for sale starting from $399,000 in the seven-storey building which includes one penthouse from $765,000. The Curve Birtinya is expected to be completed March 2021, with residents moving in soon after.
