30th Abbey Medieval Festival

Australia’s largest Medieval event is back for its 30th year of Jousting Tournaments, Birds of Prey, a Medieval Banquet, street performers, craftsmen and more. The Abbey Medieval Festival is the premier annual event in the Moreton Bay Region, of Queensland, which focuses on an accurate depiction of life in the medieval period. The Festival has been successfully run by the Abbey Museum of Art and Archaeology, and this year the Festival celebrates its 30th anniversary with extended events and experiences. The proceeds from the Festival go towards continual expansion, conservation of the collection and extensive educational programs.
