American Essential Film Festival

Palace Centro will be hosting this years American Essential Film Festival. The festival celebrates the L.A. spirit by screening twenty-two of the finest contemporary American independent films, as well as offering a strong retrospective program. Attendees will be greeted by silver screen heavy weights, such as Hilary Swank and Helena Bonham Carter in the drama 55 Steps, as well as cult fan favourites such as Nicolas Cage in Mom and Dad. Iconic pictures including Heat (1995), starring Al Pacino and Robert De Niro, and Chinatown (1974), starring Jack Nicholson, have been lovingly restored for the audiences enjoyment.
