The Australian Transplant Games are a fantastic celebration of the gift of life that transplantation is and are centred around saying thanks for organ donation and promoting transplantation to Australia and the World. Last held on the Gold Coast in 2002, the 17th edition of this annual event is sure to capitalise on the new world class sporting venues that are available as a legacy of the 2018 Gold Coast Commonwealth Games. The main objective of the Transplant Games is to demonstrate that people with transplants are able to lead normal healthy lives and compete in sporting activities.
