Hmong-Australian artist Vanghoua Anthony Vue, will imbue colour and connection through found objects as Museum of Brisbane‘s BrisAsia 2023 Artist-in-Residence during the annual BrisAsia Festival. Weaving everyday items and recycled materials into artworks, Brisbane-based Vanghoua Anthony’s bold and vibrant imagery celebrates traditional Hmong textiles. Visitors can interact with the artist at work, allowing a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process as found objects transform into arresting artworks and sculputres.
