Big City Barbecue

See the opening act Ellen Reed from The Voice followed by a host of Brisbane’s sporting and musical talent. Take part in fun and activities with Hit 105, the Brisbane Heat, the Queensland Reds, the NRL and much, much more. Tasty market food stalls include Brat Haus, Little Spain, Reid Street Kitchen, Pizzantica, Foodbank QLD, La Cucina Mobile and Dello Mano. The Brisbane Big City Barbecue raises funds through a lunchtime festival and distributes to charities working at grassroots level right across Brisbane. The Barbecue has donated more than $700,000 for charity since 2006. The nominated charities to receive donations from the Barbecue this year are Drug ARM Australasia, the Lord Mayor’s Charitable Trust and Foodbank Queensland. The Barbecue has become known as ‘Brisbane’s Day of Giving’ and is supported by corporate sponsorship.
