FreeThis February and March a number of local playwrights will be showcasing their work through a series of free play readings in The Space. Often the precursors to larger productions, these readings are the perfect opportunity for the playwright to test their material in an intimate setting.
Clan: When asteroids hit the earth, a clan of women survived the brutal droughts and flood that followed, but believed their men did not. Now they face the harshest reality — the end of human existence. When a young woman makes a chance discovery, she sets out on a dangerous journey, determined to find the men alive and reunite the clans. But she is unprepared for the brutality of the male clan and the flood of feelings awakened by the man who discovers her.
