Crazy Plastic Love

FreeThis February and March a number of local playwrights will be showcasing their work through a series of free play readings in The Space. Often the precursors to larger productions, these readings are the perfect opportunity for the playwright to test their material in an intimate setting.
Crazy Plastic Love: Emma and Jacob, a married couple who are unwilling to deal with the issues of their unhappiness are confronted by Veritas, a mythological being conjured out of a painting. Emma agrees to a sinister deal proposed by Veritas. From that moment, Veritas takes them on a journey to see life through the eyes of other couples. They see, hear and feel everything from another point of view and gain a greater understanding of how painful but necessary the truth can be.
