Genealogical Society of Queensland Open Day | Wishart

The Genealogical Society of Queensland will celebrate August’s National Family History Month with its annual open day at the GSQ research centre to explore their family history.
Presentations and topics:
11am: Setting research standards Sherlock Holmes style by Dr Jennifer Harrison.
12pm: What DNA can and can’t do for your genealogy by Judy Lofthouse.
1pm: Using GSQ resources in your family history research by Ailsa Corlett.
Food and drink will be available, and entry is free. Street parking around the resource centre is unrestricted. For those taking public transport, the closest bus stop is serviced by the 180 BUZ from the city.
