HOTA Launches Final Exhibition

The Gold Coast’s Home of the Arts (HOTA) gallery launches its final exhibition until 2021, Dean Cogle: Beyond Nostalgia, by commended local artist, Dean Cogle. The last exhibition within the existing building, which will make way for the $60.5 million world-class gallery opening in early 2021, is synonymous with coastal culture, embodying themes of place, memory and identity. Reflecting upon Cogle’s interests in architecture, as well as personal narratives and popular culture, Beyond Nostaligia is a retrospective capture of the Gold Coast’s iconic lifestyle and celebrates forty years of the artist’s creative output including painting, design and illustration.
