The touching story of Australia’s most inspiring surf lifesaving program – Albatross Nippers, is set to hit the big screen.
Included, a 35-minute documentary about Albatross Nippers’ amazing mission to help children with special needs experience the joys of surf lifesaving, will premiere at Home of the Arts (HOTA) on the Gold Coast.
The award-winning initiative is entering its fifth season and is conducted within the Nobby’s Beach SLSC Nipper program, so that all kids (Albatross Nippers and Nippers) can train alongside one another. The documentary tells the incredible story about the effects this inclusive program has had within the Surf Life Saving community. Growing year on year, the Albatross Nippers program currently has more than 100 families with special needs children and young adults as registered participants.
