Lara Merrett ‘This is not a love song (B)’

Sydney-based artist Lara Merrett’s upcoming exhibition, This is not a love song (B), features a series of
collage paintings that continue her exploration of colour, surface, form and texture. Using ink, acrylics and linen, she explores the themes of the avant-garde and romanticism, sprinkling in nostalgia. This work is a counter-part to her Sydney Installation Contemporary 2017 paintings.
