Miranda Skoczek’s works sensually immerse the viewer in temporal space. Her artwork, on show at the Edwina Corlette Gallery, plays on a connection to perceptual depth and the passage of time, references are made to ancient cultures, the decorative arts and domestic architectures. She layers paint to provide a source of history, and constantly trolls the Internet and glossy magazines collecting, organising, edited and re-editing images from high and popular culture.
