Australian television and theatre star, Noni Hazlehurst is presenting a remarkable, award-winning, one woman show- Mother. Mother tells the devastating story of ‘Christie’, a homeless woman in an unforgiving world. The production gives audiences a true insight into the reality of homelessness in Australia, speaking to themes of mental health. It has won 2015 Drama Victoria Award for Best Production, was nominated for a Helpmann Award and was also a finalist in the 2016 Australian Performing Arts Centre Association‘s Drover Awards.
HOTA will also host a special High Tea with Noni following the first show, where guests can enjoy a live Q&A interview while enjoying sparkling wine and delicious treats.
