Noosa Malibu Classic grew from a weekend contest in 1992 to the current nine day event with film, art, music and parties running parallel to the surfing. The Festival attracts legends, pros and amateurs from across the nation and around the globe. Surfing First Point’s world-class longboard wave with only five others in the water is good enough reason for most. For the 2019 Festival, international surf travel agency World Surfaris have been appointed by the Noosa Malibu Club as the Festival managers. This years festival has received sponsorship from Vonu a name that is rapidly becoming synonymous with the longboarding and alternative surf community. The legacy of the Festival is in capable hands for 2019.
