Innerspace is announcing their upcoming exhibition with Bryce Anderson and Julia Sirianni. In Painting pictures, each painting is constructed as an image- a theme representing the negation of authorship. The paintings shift between images derived from Anderson’s oeuvre and the appropriation of historical paintings that assist in framing the artist’s narrative. From life – Julia Sirianni‘s debut solo exhibition – is a collection of pictures from Sirianni’s recent wanderings, revisiting environments from her youth where the unnatural speckles the natural environment—calling into question human effects on our fragile environment.
