Outback Festival

The ‘Outback Festival’ has been coined quirky, strange and even weird, but has been drawing visitors from all over Australia and overseas since the early 70’s. This year’s theme is centred around “Giant’s of the Outback”, highlighting our home grown giants, whether giant in size or giant in spirit.
The festival is famous for many fun and strange events including the Quilton Australian Dunny Derby, whip cracking championships, wool bale rolling and strongman challenges. Combine this with live bands, kids events and a sunset dining experience overlooking Winton’s stunning landscape, this is an Aussie festival not to be missed!
