Winter goes off with a bang in Surfers Paradise with SeaFire, Australia’s only international fireworks competition. The annual family-friendly event held in Surfers Paradise offers a spectacle of pyrotechnics with a night of hypnotic performance and thrilling fireworks brought to you by the world’s leading pyrotechnic designers. Last year saw reigning champions Hunan Qingtai Fireworks Group from China, who designed the Beijing Olympic opening ceremony, defeated by Philippines’ Platinum Fireworks in an awe-inspiring show of exploding colour, light and music.
