Short & Sweet Queensland are back for their ninth year – bigger and better than ever!

Short & Sweet QLD, the worlds biggest little play, has been delighting audiences from across Queensland for nine years and has come back, kicking 2017 off in style. This year they will showcase cutting-edge contemporary, grisly drama, outlandish comedy, sultry song and everything in between.
After receiving Best Overall Production in 2016, the dynamic duo from Boys Taste Better With Nutella by Brisbane-based artists Caitlin Hill and Peter Wood, expanded their ten-minute work into a full length production! It shares the story of Aggy, a hopeless romantic stuck in a look of lost relationships. This new work will be performed for the first time on stage at the festival’s Opening Week Extravaganza. This opening week lasting from the 19th of July to 21st of July, will showcase a spectacular line-up of past favourite acts from Short & Sweet QLD.
