Innerspace Contemporary Art is excited to announce its sixth exhibition Slowly, Subtly, an exhibition of paintings by two emerging women artists, Laura Horrocks and Rachel Farlow, whose work embodies the materiality of the ephemeral through dynamic use of colour, line and form. Horrocks explores the idea of things falling together and coming apart, while Farlow creates a passage to push beyond pictorial definitions to communicate the experience of time and memory. Together, these works emphasise a slowness in looking that triggers awareness in the subtle sensibility of everyday experience. Please note the opening reception on 14 September is from 6 to 9pm.
