Sunnybank Lunar New Year Rooftop Party

Held in conjunction with Brisbane City Council’s BrisAsia Festival, this year’s Lunar New Year Rooftop Party will kick off from 4pm, taking over the HOYTS Cinema Rooftop Carpark at Sunnybank Plaza and transforming it into a bustling Lunar New Year festival, inspired by celebrations held around the world. Pull up a beanbag and enjoy a stellar lineup of live entertainers taking to the stage – including the iconic lion dancers, crashing symbols and K-pop performances. Then explore and immerse yourself in the colour and culture of our pop-up laneway, full of traditional activities including origami making, traditional tea ceremonies, calligraphy and more.
