FreeJoin the final Talk Of Newstead presented by Aveo Newstead, a speaker series which celebrates the lifestyle of Newstead. Featuring three of Queensland’s best sharing tales of their careers, staring former Lord Mayor of Brisbane Sallyanne Atkinson, columnist Frances Whiting and author Hugh Lunn.
As a journalist in the 1970s Hugh won three Walkley Awards for feature writing. His memoir Over the Top with Jim became a best selling childhood memoir and was adapted for the stage for the first Brisbane Festival. His Vietnam: A Reporter’s War won the AGE Book of the Year prize for literature.
