Metro Arts 2018 performance program kicks with the Local series; a series of three compelling contemporary plays co-presented with some of the best and brightest theatre makers in Brisbane. First up is Room to Play and Metro Arts new production of the award winning, darkly comic and disturbing Australian absurdist work The Eisteddfod by Lally Katz. The game is on and acting out is key. Orphaned as teenagers, Abalone and Gerture act out their anxieties and desires playing pretend to win the ultimate prize of a trip to Moscow.
