Tjala Arts Exhibit

The Jan Murphy Gallery will present an exhibition featuring artwork from the acclaimed Tjala Arts Centre in Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) Lands. The show will focus on artists from Tjala Arts, providing a platform for their works in Queensland. Seven Sisters will feature new works by the Ken Sisters Collaborative, plus individual works by Sylvia Ken and Tjungkara Ken. Known for their vibrant use of colour and energetic mark making, works by Tjala artists are held in numerous public institutions. The Ken Sisters Collaborative are currently in the 2018 Adelaide Biennial of Australian Art.
