Chevron Renaissance Shopping Centre will celebrate the influx of local and international tourists visiting Surfers Paradise next month for the Commonwealth Games with a 13 day festival that will see the precinct come to life, including a family friendly Easter Extravaganza during the school holidays. Following the success of its inaugural Chevron Fest in December, Chevron Renaissance will once again offer an exciting Easter entertainment program for those visiting the precinct, with live music and vibrant street performances, special retailer offers and kids activities running every day.
A variety of entertainment will make up the program of events, from live musicians to performers who feature in Ripley’s Believe it Or Not, and everyone’s favourite furry fellow will be hopping around with Alice in Wonderland. Dessert shop Max Brenner will be creating an indulgent Easter special, alongside its Easter Sundae with scoops of creamy ice cream, fresh strawberries and warm mini hot cross buns, topped with whipped cream and waffle balls and served with a pure chocolate lick and colourful sprinkles.
Max Brenner’s Hot Cross Bun Fondue will be also feature at the festival, including warm hot cross buns to dip in pure melted milk and dark chocolate, crunchy waffle balls, cookie crumbs, mini marshmallows and sprinkles. From captivating flamingo stilt walkers to world record breaking sword swallowers, the Gold Coast shopping and lifestyle precinct will host a talented selection of artists and performers to headline the festival with highlight acts including 50 time Guinness World Record breaker, Space Cowboy.
