QUT Creative Enterprise Australia’s (CEA) Fashion360 accelerator will launch its most intriguing group of designers and bring together leading industry professionals, all converging on Brisbane in March 2020. This year Fashion360 includes designers with a broad range of business concepts that will appeal to a diversity of interests and lifestyles.

The industry-leading Accelerator Program, delivered by CEA, will mentor seven diverse fashion founders, equipping them with the business skills to further develop and launch a new range to market.  The designers will join Fashion360 ambassadors Clare Press and Mareile Osthus, as well as mentors, partners, and designers in a six-month Program, which officially launched Thursday 27 February 2020.  The transformative Program is personalised to the individual business and technical requirements of each brand offering a unique and accelerated experience alongside like-minded designers.

The program will designers to navigate everything from the financial shifting retail market, to concerns around the industrys impact on the environment and responsible practices. Fashion industry experts, including Judith Kingston, Ian Perkins, and Jane Morley will share their unique insights throughout the Program, including how to manoeuvre fashion businesses to reach and stay at the top of their game. Now in its fifth year, the Program is set once again to fast track the growth of the founders and their businesses. Commenting on this year’s designers, Fashion360 Business Development Manager, Thuy Nguyen said, “resilience, determination and total commitment are the ingredients for survival in the fashion game. I’m excited to see how each designer responds to the intensity and rigor of the Program.” This year will also see the continuation of the stylish partnership with The Calile Hotel pop up, with select past Fashion360 participants showcasing their range from June until August, each designer taking over the retail space for two to three weeks.
