The Fullerton Hotel launched its first ever Australian venue at No.1 Martin Place, Sydney on the 18th of October. The five star hotel, located in the civic heart of the central business district, marks Fullerton’s first international expansion outside of its primary location in Singapore.

Praised for breathing new life into one of Australia’s most loved buildings, the Fullerton Hotel is a welcome addition to Sydney’s bustling landscape and a much needed re-invigoration of a historic landmark. The Sino Group has ensured the former General Post Office remains true to its history, and have taken care to revitalise the building without removing any of its character.

Guests staying at The Fullerton can choose from 52 heritage rooms, or contemporary ones, and indulge in both Singaporean and modern Australian cuisine whilst sipping bespoke cocktails inspired by the city itself.

Members of the public are also able to view the hotel’s grandeur, with heritage tours of the building’s rich history conducted on weekends. These tours will highlight the intricate details of the Renaissance like features, and reveal little known facts about the bygone years.

Though significant attention has been paid to restoring the facade of the building to its former glory, guests can still expect the amenities synonymous with a five star hotel; such as Harman Kardon Bluetooth speakers, Nespresso machines with pods, and an indulgent menu of pillows to choose from. It’s this mix of old world charm and modern luxuries that will surely make Fullerton Hotel a destination for many generations to come.
