A new multi-venue dining precinct will open on the Gold Coast as early as August 2019, through a proposed $7 million venture by The Good Time Group.

After first being revealed in 2017, the new food and beverage development will now be situated under the five-star Avani apartment tower in the suburb of Broadbeach, spanning more than 1900 square metres. The proposed precinct is stacked with a lineup of popular brands, including Hastings Street Noosa bar and restaurant, Miss Moneypenny’s, American-style sports bar Fat Freddy’s Beach Bar and Diner, and a private dining space called The Rimini Room. The three separate offerings will be brought to life with the help of the acclaimed Sydney hospitality design company, Paul Kelly Design.

CEO Ben Walsh was excited to finally be able to announce the construction of the new dining precinct with their three venues all set to open this year, with Fat Freddy’s being the first venue to open the development. “The venues will provide an atmosphere driven social dining experience that we know the Gold Coast will love!” he said.

All three venues offer different dining escapades for visitors, creating an zone of enjoyment and decadence. Miss Moneypenny’s offers a hybrid bar and styled dining space for up to 200 guests, with a stunning fireplace centre piece. Fat Freddy’s Beach Bar & Diner delivers a modernised revisiting of American diner favourites, featuring a luxury gaming lounge with live sport and music setting the tone. Concluding with The Rimini Room, which is a extravagant function space for corporate dinners and high-end dining parties.
