Returning home to Brisbane for the first time in more than 13 years, landscape painter Amanda Penrose Hart unveiled a series of new works for her inaugural exhibition Beautiful One Day, Perfect the Next at Mitchell Fine Art, launching on Friday 24 August. Predominantly a landscape painter, Penrose Hart travels extensively in search of inspiration. Painting in situations and later referencing from memory, Penrose Hart aims to capture not only the physical landscape but also the essence or feeling of a place. The exhibition is showing until Saturday 15 September.
