Iris Rooftop Bar and Restaurant welcomed guests in for the grand opening on 29 April. Around 300 VIP guests were invited into the Mediterranean-inspired venue to try delicacies such as red claw crayfish tails, smoked mortadella and provolone cheese sliders, and cumin-spiced fried fish tacos. The rooftop views allow patrons to take in the views of Brisbane, whilst surrounded by wisteria, olive trees, and twinkling lights. The bar served a selection of drinks including Aperitivo Spritz, Disaronno Amaretto Sour, and Vibe Checks (Espolon Reposado tequila, pink pepper, and grapefruit). The night featured a DJ, a taste tester of the R&B Sunday Sessions the venue will hold. Iris opens on 5 May, seven days a week from 11 am until late.
