The Langham Melbourne, and internationally celebrated fashion illustrator Kerrie Hess announced the debut of The Residence by Kerrie Hess. Kerrie Hess has produced breath-taking illustrations for Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Net-a-Porter and The Langham, Melbourne.
Kerrie Hess and The Langham, Melbourne have a long-standing relationship dating back to 2013 when the hotel hosted a Kerrie Hess art and afternoon tea series of events. Since then, the hotel and one of the world’s most renowned fashion illustrators have teamed up on solo exhibitions, Instagram takeovers and commissioning of exclusive prints that are available from The Langham, Melbourne’s petite luxury boutique, Flavours of Langham.
“We are thrilled to be partnering with world-renowned Kerrie Hess on this unique project and our first designer suite here at The Langham, Melbourne which will provide an elevated residential experience at our hotel for our domestic and suite customers. The suite is a spacious haven in which to relax and entertain and features parquetry floors, high ceilings, chandeliers, an abundance of natural light and inviting soft furnishings custom-made in collaboration with Kerrie Hess,” commented André Jacques, Director of Sales & Marketing.
Guests are now able to experience overnight stays in The Residence by Kerrie Hess. The residence suite includes two bedrooms featuring a soft, muted palette of pastels, including Langham’s signature pale pink, 14 iconic illustrations by Kerrie Hess including a new specially commissioned piece of a couture model dressed in a pink ball gown set in the hotel’s elegant lobby, a spacious living area complete with cocktail cart as well as a wellequipped kitchen and dining room that seats four guests.
The Residence by Kerrie Hess is currently available from Thursday, 8 August until Tuesday, 30 June 2020 and can accommodate up to four guests. Guests may also choose to order Kerrie Hess prints and the same Sealy bed that has been selected for the residence suite at Flavours of Langham.
