The winner will ride a wave on a surfboard, custom signed by surfing legend Joel Parkinson, and snap up the hottest tickets in town to the Commonwealth Games Opening Ceremony thanks to Olympic gold medalist Sally Pearson and The Star.
Ironman champion Trevor Hendy has reserved the winner some of the best seats in the house at handpicked restaurants, while award-winning singer-songwriter Amy Shark has offered up some guidance on the best music gigs to check out in the local area.
Access to The Star’s VIP athlete area The Lawn will allow the winner to rub shoulders with some of the world’s most talented sporting stars during the Games. The winner will also receive $5000 spending money, with style queen Natalie Gruzlewski preparing local boutiques ahead of the winners arrival.
When it comes to accommodation, the lucky winner will call a multi-million dollar luxury beach pad home for the week. The four level home boasts absolute beach frontage, a private swimming pool, cinema room, spa and a fully stocked fridge.
Jan Hutton, of Destination Gold Coast, says, “We feel incredibly fortunate to call this part of the world our home; it’s a slice of paradise.
“We want everybody to see what the Gold Coast has to offer, through the eyes of our locals; we believe their sincere passion is almost contagious.
“Bringing these dynamic ambassadors together for this compelling project was a challenge in itself. They have such busy global lives and agendas, but their enthusiasm for sharing why the Gold Coast is so remarkable, made the journey with them particularly special.”
Running until 20 March, Keys to the Coast will celebrate what it means to live local on the Gold Coast.
