The best beers in the world have been tasted and judged at the prestigious 2019 Australian International Beer Awards (AIBA), with Land & Sea Brewery receiving three silver medals for its Kolsch, Little Cove Lager and First Point Pale Ale.

Since opening in January of 2018, Noosa’s iconic Land & Sea Brewery has consecutively won medals at the AIBA awards. with this year being its most successful yet, says Owner Tim Crabtree. “We’re really stoked to win yet more awards for our beers, the publics reaction to them speaks for itself but it’s also nice to have industry recognition. Results like these and our ongoing success all comes down to our brew team and the involvement of all of our staff and customers.”

Having run for more than 25 years, the AIBA is the worlds largest annual beer competition judging both packaged and draught beer. It is conducted by The Royal Agricultural Society of Victoria (RASV), who are also responsible for the Australian Distilled Spirits Awards and Royal Melbourne Wine Awards. Over 65 local and international industry experts assess over 2000 entries across three days in Melbourne from 8 to 10 May, with beers received from Australia and around the world.

The awards offer Land & Sea the opportunity to benchmark their beers against set criteria; receiving invaluable independent feedback from industry experts; and be rewarded for excellence.
