Treasury Brisbane’s LiveWire 24/7 Sports Bar has revealed its sleek new match colours ahead of a packed 2020 calendar of sport, local legends and live entertainment. An entirely new fit-out includes a revamped bar, brighter colour palette, new booths and seating, rare sporting memorabilia and a new 6.7 metre wide LED screen yo immerse viewers in the biggest moments of 2020.

Designed by BSPN Architecture, the comprehensive refurbishment includes contemporary design features such as increased light and use of brace and metal elements paired with the bespoke character of the historic Treasury Casino building. Equipped with the latest viewing technology, LiveWire 24/7 Sports Bar’s main feature is a new LED super screen broadcasting all unmissable feature matches, races and events.

Positioned directly above the new-look venue’s live entertainment stage, the mega screen can broadcast multiple events simultaneously on the one screen, while an additional 10 new screens fitted throughout the remainder of the Sports Bar create an unrivalled multi-screen viewing experience. The revamped space boasts four new private booths for the ultimate VIP sporting experience, offering exclusive matchday prime viewing position in front of the new mega screen, in addition to eight new lounges and high bar seating for 56.

Additionally, Treasury Brisbane has revealed its inaugural ‘Legends of LiveWire’ ambassadors for the revamped bar – Brisbane Roar Head Coach and Liverpool great Robbie Fowler and Queensland Rugby League legend Sam Thaiday. Treasury Brisbane Chief Operating Officer Kelvin Dodt said the LiveWire 24/7 Sports Bar will cement itself as the city’s premier home of live sport and entertainment. “As part of our expanded offering, LiveWire 24/7 Sports Bar’s new private booths and lounge seating and delicious bar menu offer an elevated experience for guests while the collection of rare memorabilia on display throughout the venue truly adds to the atmosphere. The sporting influence has also carried through to our exciting new beverage menu, including proudly serving the Australian Winter Olympian Steven Bradbury inspired and co-founded Last Man Standing Perfectly Paced Australian Lager,” Mr Dodt said.
