Meriton Suites, Australian owner-operator of hotel suites, is opening its third Gold Coast based apartment-style hotel. Doors open to guests on Saturday 3 July at a beachfront location on The Esplanade at Surfers Paradise, 700 metres from Cavill Avenue.

The brand new 332 apartment-style hotel will cater for families travelling to the Gold Coast, providing extra space, often up to three times larger than a standard hotel room. Hotel suites will occupy the first 31 levels in the designed 252 metre high building named Ocean, which is the newest skyscraper in the Gold Coast skyline. Operators say the hotel will feature spacious suites that all cleverly designed to include sizeable open balconies. Given the landmark position, most hotel suites will boast unobstructed views of the famous sandy beaches, golden coastline and the Pacific Ocean.

Hotel guests will have access to an onsite indoor heated swimming pool, spa and sauna, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness centre. The hotel will also be home to a lobby-based cafe, Italian restaurant, and a modern eatery with a licenced bar, heath and beauty speciality stores, and a convenience store. Directly located behind the hotel, guests can access the Cypress Avenue G:link light rail station that connects them to key destinations such as Broadbeach, Pacific Fair Shopping Centre, Southport, Gold Coast University Hospital and to the rail interchange at Helensvale.

All guests will be kept connected with complimentary, unlimited high-speed Wi-Fi that is found in all areas of the hotel, including every suite. Meriton Suites has already started taking bookings as many people begin to plan their winter holiday escapes.
