Brisbane sparkled at a special preview of Museum of Brisbane‘s new exhibition, City in the Sun. Guests enjoyed tropical inspired treats before a curator’s tour of the exhibition with MoB Curator Miranda Hine and some of the exhibition’s artists  Sebastian Moody, Kinly Grey, Holly Anderson, Laura Patterson and Rachel Burke. The exhibition includes eight significant commissions by local artists coupled with works by Gerwyn Davies, Michael Zavros and Tracey Moffatt.  Highlights include a film from the National Film and Sound archive from 1954 called Brisbane – City in the Sun plus a Rachel Burke tinsel backyard installation complete with flower beds, a swing and cubby house all adorned in her signature sparkled, hyper colourful style.
