With pandemic restrictions changing how we can enjoy a meal and celebrate with family and friends over a plate of food, a new era of dining has emerged with people flocking to outdoor dining experiences and secluded entertainment.

Delivering just that, Mrs Frost’s Kitchen is a picturesque farm venue nestled in the Gold Coast’s hinterland offering guests an outdoor dining experience that is centred around genuine connection, delicious food, and farm fresh air. Built on an intense love for food and a passion for human connection and friendship, Mrs Frost’s Kitchen founder and host Julie Frost says that nothing makes her happier than welcoming people to her farm and creating a dining experience that leaves guests feeling full and happy.

“For me, there is nothing more enjoyable than cooking and sharing my home-made food and products while sitting outdoors in the sunshine with my dearest people,” Frost said. “The fresh hinterland air, the rolling green hills, and the faint moos heard from the cows combined with delicious food, great company, and cherished laughter is my dream come true. Whether it is for an engagement party, a long lunch with the girls, a work event, or a family get-together, it brings me joy to welcome guests to my home for an unforgettable ‘Plate to Paddock’ dining experience.”

As the demand for experiential dining encounters has risen as a result of changing restrictions limiting group numbers, Mrs Frost expects that this spring will see a spike in patrons seeking outdoor dining options for all occasions, from intimate gatherings through to larger social events. “As social distancing and restrictions on group sizes in closed venues are still at play, I envision that farm-fresh dining experiences like mine will be the talk of the town,” she said.

“At times like this, it is important to stay connected to our loved ones and enjoy the simple things in life, like a home-cooked meal, sunshine, laughter, and genuine conversation.” While lavish restaurants and rooftop bars are aplenty in Queensland, Mrs Frost’s Kitchen offers a dining experience like no other, says Julie.
