Hidden on a tiny side street in Newstead sits a specialty coffee shop like no other. Oliver James Coffee is a special place, not just because it has its own golden retriever, loyally stationed out front, George; but because it is a space created to fuel creative projects with its drinks and pastries.
The shop was built by and attached to Woodsters Constructions, and is a testament to the design capabilities of Oliver Burscough and his team. The space was completely reimagined to feature a cool modern interior design where people can stop in for a coffee or grab it to go. The space has an ethos to give locals a space where ideas can be generated, unpacked and planned. Serving up Single O coffee, HRVST St juices and fresh pastries by Jocelyn’s Provisions, this place delivers on quality.
Director of Oliver James is dancer extraordinaire Daisy Sonter-Kelso who gives the shop an important injection of life and light. She is a professional dancer and has travelled internationally for her craft, but for right now she runs this creative hub with her partner Oliver and their pup George.
