Gold Coast kids’ pamper salon Pampered Princess is launching a new venue at Burleigh Heads, with luxury spa parties booming in popularity among local girls of all ages. The expansive new Burleigh studios will be unveiled at a Grand Opening charity event on January 17, with fun activities for families to enjoy and mini glitter makeovers by Glitter Girl. Voted the Coast’s number one kids’ party venue, Pampered Princess was founded in Coomera 10 years ago and recorded its best year to date in 2019 when business more than tripled, and the team grew from three to more than 20 members.

The new Burleigh salon promises to be a bubblegum-scented wonderland of hot pink and glitter with several pamper rooms and a huge neon disco room with LED dance floor. Owner, Laura Jones said the business offered a range of age-appropriate packages for children from 3 to 16 years, including luxury makeovers, themed parties, high tea, and school holiday programs. “Our priority was, and always will be, to focus on inclusion,” Ms Jones said. “I want every young girl to grow up knowing and believing she is worthy.”

Pamper sessions may include mini manicure with glitter nail polish, mini pedicure, an organic chocolate facial, plus sparkly makeup and hairstyling to finish. In 2019, the business switched to using only locally made, toxin-free and vegan beauty products and they are proud to source products from local businesses and allows them to know exactly what goes into every product,  perfect for young princesses and sensitive skin. “Glitter is biodegradable and even our balloon displays are eco-friendly,” Ms Jones said, “We have cupcakes which can be styled as the birthday cake so parents don’t need to bring a cake unless they want to.” The Burleigh Grand Opening will include a raffle with proceeds going to Radio Lollipop.
