POOFTA and Wanblut; two captivating exhibitions that explore human identity through painting and sculpture opened at Metro Arts on Wednesday 13 June. POOFTA, created by Callum McGrath, is an immersive video installation addressing ambiguities of identity by diving deep into queer histories, rugby league, artistic legacies and family biographies. Presented alongside McGrath’s work is Claudia Greathead’s Wanblut which dwells on familial relationships.
