Ravishing Fashionistas has shattered records and redefined norms in the fashion industry with its upcoming 2024 fashion runway event. This year’s casting call saw an astounding turnout of over 150 models, a testament to the ever-growing popularity and inclusive nature of this
groundbreaking upcoming fashion show.
Traditionally, the selection process for Ravishing Fashionistas’ runway shows has been highly competitive, with only 20-30 models making the final cut. However, this year marks a bold departure from the traditional approach. The Ravishing team have made a conscious decision to expand the lineup to over 50 models, embracing a diverse array of body types and redefining the standards of beauty within the fashion industry.
Ravishing Fashionistas is committed to showcasing the beauty of diversity. By increasing the number of models, the event aims to provide a platform where all body types are celebrated. This inclusive approach not only challenges traditional fashion norms but also sends a powerful
message of acceptance and representation. Each model will have the opportunity to walk the runway 2-3 times, a rare and unheard-of chance in the fashion industry, to ensure that their unique styles and personalities shine through.
The excitement for the 2024 runway show has been ever-increasing since the successful promotional shoot earlier this year. The buzz generated by the promo has made Ravishing Fashionistas the talk of the town, with fashion enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the upcoming
events. The next milestone is the designer trail on 17 August, where participating designers will showcase their creations, and finalise and perfect their pieces for the runway.
On 31 August, the spotlight will be on the designers themselves during the highly anticipated Designer Talk, offering insights into their inspirations and creative processes. All roads lead to the main event, the RF Fashion Show, set to take place on September 1st at
the iconic Brisbane Treasury.
With more than 60% of the tickets already sold, the anticipation is reaching fever pitch and fashion lovers are advised to secure their tickets quickly to avoid missing out on what promises to be an iconic event.
