Michael Clarke, former Australian cricket captain, was the keynote speaker at the official Reed & Co Noosa launch event Wednesday 19 September. In his speech, Clarke spoke about success and the similarities between sport and business. Claiming good advice, guidance, and great people are the support one needs to make the right decisions, admitting that is why he aligns himself with real estate company Reed & Co, and its owner, award-winning Sunshine Coast agent Adrian Reed.
Reed, the namesake and heir to the multi-generational company, has been welcomed into the Noosa community. Following in the footsteps of his parents and grandparents before him, Adrian has dreamed of having his own agency in an exclusive Sunshine Coast suburb – a dream he has finally achieved. He thanked a host of people for his success, including his business mentors, his wife, Justine, and his parents, Don and Agnes.
Other well-known guests which joined Adrian on the night included Anthony Bell, sole partner of Australia’s largest advisory and accounting firm and Kelly Landry, television presenter, who mingled over champagne and canapes. Although there were more than 150 guests in attendance.
Many of whom bid in the night’s charity auction for the Loyal Foundation, founded by Bell and backed by Clarke. Which ultimately raised more than $6000 for children’s medical equipment and community engagement. But the highest prize went to the generous bidder who received a five-hour luxury experience, including a helicopter trip over Noosa’s renowned beaches, followed by a three-course lunch with premium wines. As well as return flights to Noosa for four people, knowing the beachside town is sure to steal anyone’s heart.
