Restaurant & Catering Australia (R&CA) unveiled Queensland and the Northern Territory’s best restaurants, cafes and caterers at the 2020 Queensland Restaurant & Catering HOSTPLUS Awards for Excellence.

The Awards for Excellence program formally recognises hospitality operators across a broad range of categories who consistently provide exceptional service and demonstrate culinary excellence in their respective fields. Restaurant & Catering (R&CA) CEO Wes Lambert congratulated each of the winners on behalf of the Association, recognising their significant contributions to the hospitality sector across Queensland & the Northern Territory.

“The QLD/NT Awards for Excellence is one of the most important nights in the state’s Hospitality calendar. It is always such an amazing experience to recognise some of the state’s finest hospitality businesses who showcase the very best our industry has to offer”, Mr Lambert said.

“This year’s winners include household names such as Montrachet in Bowen Hills & Bridgewater Q in South Townsville, who took out the South Eastern/Northern Queensland Restaurant of the Year, Little Glass Room Espresso Bar in Mount Gravatt, who took out the Casual Dining Award and Customs House Brisbane, who won the Caterer of the Year,” he said.

“Other categories this year include the consumer vote award, Chef and Apprentice Chef of the year and Tourism Restaurant of the Year Award. Each category represents some of the best and most unique food and dining on offer across the great state of Queensland & the Top End.”
