COCOM Communications hosted a Roaring Twenties Women’s networking event for guests from the art, entertainment, media and business sectors at Museum of Brisbane’s New Woman exhibition on Thursday February 6. Guests sipped on champagne and dined on morsels created for the occasion including seared scallops, slow cooked beef and chocolate mousse. The New Woman exhibition is a retrospective across 100 years of Brisbane’s best women artists and their social and economic journey from 1920 to 2019 showcasing works from trailblazer Daphne Mayo through to contemporary artist Emma Coulter. New Woman closes 15 March.
