Gold Coast’s Stable Coffee Kitchen has launched a new autumn menu showcasing seasonal produce.
Stable Owner Benjamin Honey said the new menu complements the beautiful and crisp weather typical of autumn on the Gold Coast and showcases fresh ingredients. “As the seasons shift, we’ll see the return of warm, cosy breakfasts, including a charred banana and steel cut oat porridge with salted caramel tahini and coconut yoghurt; and a linseed and buckwheat crepe, which has been created with a nostalgic nod to the humble apple crumble. After a lot of experimenting, taste-testing and fine-tuning, we’re confident we’ve delivered a menu that will appeal to a wide palette,” Honey said. “The new menu takes into consideration flavours and ingredients we’ve noticed over the past year of business that our customers love, while at the same time weaving in new concepts that we think they’ll appreciate.”
Stable’s kitchen team unites chefs from a range of noteworthy local restaurants, including Gwingana Health Retreat, Greenhouse Canteen & Bar and Oscar’s Fine Dining Restaurant. Serving up a menu of exclusive dishes that draw inspiration from other cultures whilst staying focused on real foods and health, the Stable kitchen continues to provide an abundance of plant-based options and dishes that cater to a range of dietary requirements, including vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. It also has a strong focus on featuring locally sourced produce, organic meats and Australian seafood.
Set in Cornerstone Stores, designed by award winning Brisbane Architects Richards and Spence, Stable has become a mecca for health-minded foodies and specialty coffee connoisseurs.
