Fortitude Valley’s Studio On Brunswick, has released three new workshops for you to enjoy this May. Designed for all levels of experience, these workshops are the perfect opportunity to celebrate and make memories with Mum this Mother’s Day.

Printing With Pattern: Tea Towels and Totes will be on May 6th. The workshop is a 3-hour creative experience where you will design, carve and print your own bespoke pattern to be printed on a tea towel or tote using 100% vegan and food-safe dyes, guided by local artist Natasha Scott. Also on May 6th is Block Printing. In this class, you’ll create a one-of-a-kind hand-cut, silk print lino that can be used to turn your own image into a unique work of art. Immerse yourself in the tactile joy of carving, inking and printing by hand with Sakura ink onto quality Kozo print paper. The workshop will also be guided by Natasha Scott. Another event on May 7th is Printing With Nature. In this hands-on class, you’ll create unique pieces of art inspired by nature using plant life, texture tools, and a Gelli plate technique. The workshop will be guided by local artist Giovanna Scott.
