Local entrepreneur Tim Johnson is set to launch an Italian coastal-inspired rooftop bar called ‘Tetto’ in Brisbane’s latest retail and dining precinct, Everton Plaza. This comes shortly after the second opening of Comuna Cantina, another of Tim’s developments, and the announcement of his fourth Corbett and Claude restaurant. All three will be located in the upcoming Everton Park suburb, with Claude and Tetto sharing a building in Everton’s exciting new food destination, Park Lane.
Tetto was inspired by Tim’s own travel experiences, which he wanted to replicate here in Brisbane. After falling in love with the laidback lifestyle afforded by a European summer, Tim aimed to deliver a place where friends could bond over an afternoon cocktail under the Brisbane sunshine.
“We’re very lucky here in Brisbane, we get to experience 283 days of sunshine every year. I wanted to create a space that allowed our guests to enjoy life at its sweetest and where it feels like a true European holiday,” Tim said.
“I’ve had some incredible times on holidays exploring the southern coastal towns of Italy and I’ve fallen in love with their laid back lifestyle, mind-blowing food, incredible scenery, super friendly people and just the feeling in the air of relaxation and good vibes.”
Guests are invited to enjoy a hearty Italian meal at Corbett and Claude, before ascending to the rooftop and embracing the ‘La Dolce Vita’ experience. Tetto Rooftop Bar will feature over 300sqm2 of beautiful open air space, featuring a bar, private booths and a rustic Italian theme throughout, with features of concrete, white, black and tangerine orange.
Tetto Rooftop Bar and Corbett and Claude will both be open to the public from Friday 6th December 2019
