Multi-disciplinary design studio The Designory has launched The Barefoot Bay Cottage, one of the first holiday houses to be designed and built for boutique holiday accommodation business, Barefoot Escapes. The cottages offer a luxury holiday escape with a distinct contemporary Australian coastal style for a true home away from home feel, equipped with IXL Fresco Auora Outdoor Heaters to ensure guests can enjoy the outdoors all year round.

All Barefoot Escapes properties are created with the belief that luxury resides in the ability to truly relax and reconnect with loved ones and friends. Located opposite a lush nature reserve in the heart of the market precinct in Byron Bay, the newest cottage is light filled, open and instils instant calm with a luxury palette of fresh white, sage greens, deep navy and concrete grey tones.

The cottage features open plan living, dining and kitchen areas, three spacious and beautifully furnished bedrooms along with two resort style bathrooms and a luxurious outdoor bath. The home has been designed with reconnecting with family and friends at its core. The Designory’s belief in the human connection to the built environment is evident in the standout feature of the property; its huge wrap around deck and outdoor entertaining area featuring over sized built in bench seating, multiple lounges, hanging chairs, a 10 seat outdoor dining table, plus an outdoor bath tub, shower and plunge pool.

The Barefoot Cottage is now available to book.
