One of the world’s largest film festival dedicated to Australian films, The Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival at Parliament House on Wednesday 15 May. The official launch was an exciting prelude of the sixth annual festival set to take place in the enchanting outback town of Winton, Queensland from 28 June to 6 July. Festival Director Mark Melrose announced the impressive festival program and the 2019 theme titled Great Big Adventure. Given that 2019 was dubbed The Year of Outback Tourism by Premier of Queensland Annastacia Palaszczuk, it was fitting that she attended the launch along with Queensland Tourism Minister Kate Jones and Member for Gregory Lachlan Miller.
