On Saturday, Aratula in the Scenic Rim welcomed more than 14,000 avid foodies and locals to the annual Winter Harvest Festival, the signature event of the stunning Eat Local Week celebrations. More than 70 markets stalls served fresh Scenic Rim produce, cooked meats, relishes, jams, dairies, wines, cheeses, soaps, juices, and apiary products. It was a gorgeous day paying tribute to the rural community and the region that provides so much goodness for the rest of the country.
